What sets this patch cord apart is its ruggedized construction. The cable core is reinforced with high-strength Aramid Yarn or Polyester Yarn fillers to handle installation tension. To ensure maximum durability at the most vulnerable point, the "tail" sections (near the connectors) are encased in a Stainless Steel Spiral Armored Tube, protecting the fiber from crushing, kinking, and rodent damage without sacrificing flexibility.
